Hello @MarketaOupi

The new feature “print templates/formats” is not available on our account either for a hotel in Belgium. We still have the previous one

A question though: will it fix the problem of not having a decritpion per night of the products consumed by the guests even in case of packages ?

Thanks

Hi Smehia,

From your comment, I understand that you would like to know if the format discussed above will allow a view of the bill that would detail the package price per night, rather than the full package on one line.

I looked at the current release, and it does not yet offer a view that divides a package into multiple lines with one line for each consumption date.

I know that request has already been shared with our product team, but please make sure you add it to our feedback page so that other customers can highlight how important this is for them too.

Hello @coline.poussiere

It is done on what appeared as the closest ideas from what I meant in my message :

https://feedback.mews.com/forums/955598-mews-guest-journey/suggestions/37470145-display-rates-per-night-on-confirmation

https://feedback.mews.com/forums/955622-billing-accounting/suggestions/42892488-billing-stay-breakdown-per-night

Both are pushed to be upvoted but that does not guarantee anything..

The thing is, that even if you bill different products as a package it should appear per night on the bill and on the invoice and not per stay

For example: for each rooms sold in bed and breakfast night. You want to reduce the amount per night by let’s say 9€ in room revenue and to increase it by the same in breakfast revenue (so you can justifiy the food costs to the accounting service of simply have a more precise idea of your ADR).

You don’t want the guest to know about this “split”, that is why “bill as package” is convenient. The downside is that if the package is the same for each night, it is considered as a massive package for all the stay and we don’t have the rate detailed per nights.

But to me (and a lot of our guests and companies we work for and with), it should be displayed night by night. Indeed the rate for one night could be different for the following one, etc..

Anyway, I hope it is something that will be considered in the near future

Thank you for your time

S.
