Hi @boskovicbojana,
Thank you for reaching out!
You mentioned that the service is per hour, but in Mews, it's currently configured per night. If you intend to offer it per hour, you will need to adjust the setup accordingly as a nightly service won't allow hourly sales; a nightly service only allows one booking per bookable period (per night).
You can find more details on hourly services here.
And yes, if you need to change the configuration, you'll have to create a new service, as this setting can't be adjusted after setup.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Warm regards
Hi Elena,
Thank you for your guidance.
As per the experience what would you say is practise to have this as additional service so it can be added to the guests bill?
I would also ask kindly from my fellow hoteliers for tips onn how they have set this up.
Many thanks!
Bojana
Hi @boskovicbojana
If you create a bookable hourly service, your guests will be able to book "spaces" in your spa per hour.
For example, if your spa has a maximum capacity of 10 people and is open from 8 AM to 8 PM, you can configure it so that 10 "spaces" are available throughout the opening hours. Guests will then be able to book at their convenience.
We have also recently released a booking engine for bookable services. This allows guests who do not have a hotel reservation to book a spa session independently, without any relation to their stay.
An hourly promoted service can be offered to your customers through the Booking Engine and the Guest Portal. The price for this booking will be displayed on the bill, so there’s no need to set it up as an additional service.
This functionality is a great way to enhance your offerings!

Feel free to experiment with different setups in your demo to see what works best. If you encounter any issues, feel free to open a support case, and we will be happy to assist.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Warm regards
