Hi @Sonja – please excuse the delayed response.
I understand the difficulty you're experiencing with not being able to see the address information during the merge process. Unfortunately, the system does not display address details during the merge, which can make it challenging to choose the correct profile. To ensure you select the right profile, you might consider checking the address information in each profile before initiating the merge process. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you:
- Check Address Information: Before merging, open each company profile separately and note down the address information.
- Initiate Merge: Once you have verified the address details, proceed with the merge by opening one of the company profiles.
- Merge Profiles: Under the Details tab, go to the Merge field, search for the duplicate profile, and click Merge.
- Select Correct Profile: Choose the profile that you have verified contains the correct address information.
- Confirm Merge: Click Merge to confirm the action.
Note: Once merged, the action cannot be undone, so it's crucial to verify details beforehand. Check out this article for more information: Create, modify or delete a company profile
Hope this helps – feel free to reach out with any further questions!
Hi @Sonja,
when merging profiles (Customer and Company) Mews actually keeps all addresses if there are multiple across those two profiles and if you merge two and only one has an address, even though you “keep” the one without, it will still keep the address. So you really don’t have to worry about loosing addresses, when merging profiles.
The only thing to keep in mind are all fields that can only carry one set of data, but those are the ones that Mews displays before when you have to decide between two profiles. It’s always only about same fields with different values, not about the field having a value in one profile and none in the other, in that case the value will always be kept.

Hm, @Svenja ,
I tested it in the demo. It loses the second companie address.
You're right about guest profiles, but apparently not about companies.
But as an idea @Sonja, add a ‘.’ or something else in the company name to the file you don't want to keep. Then you can orientate yourself when merging and keep the correct file.
Best regards
Leif
@Leif Penning refresh the page, the address is going to be there, the demo is a little slow sometimes.. ;-)
