Please find here an overview of the Shift management feature within the POS app.

 

 

What is it ?

The Shift Management feature provides control over two essential features: management of shifts (e.g : lunch service, dinner service), management of cash flow.

 

How to use it ?

To enable the Shift Management feature in the app, go the burger menu > settings > shift management.

For each outlet, the shift needs to be open at the beginning of service and closed at the end of each service (or end of day). By doing so, you will be able to print reports directly from the application after each service. If not closed manually, a shift will automatically close after being open for 24 hours.

Before opening a shift, the default cash float can be modified if needed.

 

In this section, you will be able to see the current shift state (open/closed), history of past shifts, and the cash drawer information.

 

 

Shift reports can be printed by tapping on the printer icon on the top right or the "Print Cumulative Report" button at the bottom. To print a full report, the app user needs to have an “admin” role, or the report will only contain the sales from that user.

 These till reports can also be viewed in the Web dashboard (on a computer) in the following section :  > Sales > Cash drawer.
