FIXED:

Products posted incorrectly after changes in a channel manager reservation.

We’ve updated the way Mews assigns product to reservations from channel managers. Now you spend less time correcting duplicate or missing products and city taxes when a reservation is adjusted, such as when a customer wants to extend their stay. You will see night prices posted correctly for your reservations, so your finances are accurately reflected in your reporting.

Save time looking for channel manager reservations with instant profile updates.

Can't find reservations for customers booking through travel agencies? Don’t worry, Mews now creates a new customer profile instead of updating the existing one when you get a new reservation through a channel manager.

Before, with each new travel agency reservation, Mews updated customer profiles with new information. This made it harder for reception staff and customers checking in via the kiosk to find the correct reservation.

Now, when a travel agency reservation uses the same email as a pre-existing profile but a different name and other guest details, Mews:

  • Creates a new customer profile.
  • Adds the new profile to the reservation as a customer.
  • Adds the existing profile as the booker to the reservation. This profile holds credit cards and payments for the bookings.
