Hello Mews community!
Check out our latest updates from March below!
New Features
- New group invoicing layout: Review bills with confidence.
No more struggling to review complex group invoices. The new group invoicing layout simplifies billing for group reservations, making it easier for your customers to check charges and stay within agreed spending limits.
Previously, guest charges were scattered across pages, making it hard to verify details. Now, every charge is neatly grouped by guest for quick and accurate review.
Improvements
- Automatically create and assign bills in Mews Operations.
The new billing automation solution for Mews Operations is here! Billing automation enables you to configure rules to automatically create bills and assign them to specific owners according to the schedule and conditions you specify. Note: ‘Billing automation’ replaces the functionality previously referred to as ‘Routing rules’ in Mews Operations. - Take a payment for multiple invoices with different owners in the City Ledger!
The City Ledger for Mews Operations enables your property to view and understand overdue invoices at-a-glance, take invoice payments, and send reminders.
Previously, properties could only process payments for invoices belonging to a single owner. This was time-consuming when you wanted to receive payment for multiple invoices across multiple owners.
Now, you can receive payments for multiple invoices, even when they invoices belong to different owners! This enhancement greatly simplifies complex invoicing cases involving multiple invoice owners.
- Now ask only guests with unpaid bookings for a payment card during online check-in.
Some guests don’t complete online check-in because they’re asked to enter a payment card—even when their accommodation is already paid for or booked under a corporate account.
Now, you can choose not to ask guests booking with certain rate groups for payment details during online check-in.
-
Know your guests better: Returning guest insights on the Timeline.
Say hello to better guest recognition! The returning guest icon on the Timeline, which already highlights returning guests, is now improved. Now it also displays the total number of past stays of your guests at your chain or individual property, to help you recognize and reward guest loyalty with ease.
