We have an exciting opportunity for you to try out Uber Central and provide additional conveniences for your guests and/or staff. 

We’re keen to gather insights from your usage and feedback to help us better understand the potential value of further embedding the integration into Mews, which would minimise screen switching and unlock automation in workflows such as payments and billing, or even automatically notify you when your VIP has almost arrived.  🤓

Note: 

This beta is only currently available in: France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, UK, Ireland,  Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg

 

How does it work?  

Once you have created a user account on Uber Central, you’ll be able to utilize the platform to plan and arrange rides for your guests and/or staff. You can also utilize the ride services for delivering items/products. With all services managed in one central location, you also get clear insights into costs and usage. 

VIP Experiences 

Imagine tailoring a specific guest experience for your VIP, from picking them up pre-arrival to their daily itineraries, to departure. If there’s a special occasion, you can also arrange special pick up/delivery of certain amenities, all from one platform. You’ll also be able to keep an eye on the rides for the smoothest of welcomes.  

Rides for hotel guests 

If guests just want a convenient way to get to a certain tourist spot or activity, and you’re already helping them book that activity, you can easily arrange transportation to and from the destination at the same time. 

Rides for employees 

In case of public transport disruptions or when on a time crunch, this can provide an alternative way to help your employees get to and from work safely.

Interesting! How can I get started?  

You can sign up for the beta through the Mews Marketplace, set up an account on Uber Central, and start coordinating transportation for your guests and/or staff on Uber Central.  

  1. Look for the integration “Uber for Hotels” on Mews Marketplace, click on Explore, then click on Connect

  2. A member of the Uber for Business team will reach out to help you finish setup in Uber Central. You will need to have following details at hand: 

    • A valid Uber User ID to create the admin profile (email address that is linked to an existing personal Uber account) 

    • Company legal name 

    • Company address 

    • VAT number 

    • Email recipient for the invoices 

    • Payment Method: Credit card attached to the main dashboard or Monthly bank transfer 

  3. Start requesting and coordinating rides for your guests and/or employees!
