Today 25/03 , B21-07, checked in 23/03, accounting already 3 nights. Should be 2 nights on 25/03, i would understand if it would account days, then is more clear, check in 23/03 is 1 day, 24/03 – 2 day, and 25/03 – is 3 day.

We are cleaning stayover rooms after 3 days. But if person arrived on 23/03, and today we have 25/03, and in the system showing 3 nights, when actually is 2 day,  the housekeeping company cleaning room when in shows in Mews 3/3,  but suppose to be 2/3. Thats a lot money for us. Thats why its important that would be correct.

Hello!

MEWS’ built-in housekeeping managment solution is very basic, unfortunately. We have found a few shortcommings, too (no Housekeeping notes, no intervall schedules for linen, towel etc changes,… bad ease of use for HK staff, no specific housekeeping app, set clean=inspected automatically not possible, ...). Problem is, it looks like houskeeping solutions are not a priority for MEWS, it seems… :-(

Therefore, we decided to use a thrid-party solution. For us, “Sweeply” works well, at a reasonable price (we are no affiliate of Sweeply, just a user 🙂 ), but there are many more well integrated solutions for every need and complexity (and budget)…

Regards,

Jean-Philipp.

Hi @Okajola ,

From your snippet it seems you took that after 4PM.

The system is correct actually.

The timeframes are linked to your Arrival/Departure & Occupation time windows.

The settings for this is on your Bookable service - at the bottom - link here:

https://help.mews.com/s/article/set-up-a-bookable-service?language=en_US

Because you took the snippet after 4 PM - the booking is already running the 3rd night, as Arrival time for most hotels is around 3 or 4PM.

So, essentially the guest has already “checked-in” on the clock count for their last night.

You can amend your Occupation times to be different from your Arrival times which could help you have a different time of counting the nights.

Cheers,
