Dear Mews Community,

My intern has a great question to share with you regarding digital registration cards:

'Hi all! I would like to get started with digital registration cards using tablets. I would like to have guests fill in these registration card themselves at the front desk. Is it possible to link the registration cards on the tablet directly to Mews profiles so that employees don't have any extra work on this. Is this possible and if so how? Thanks in advance for your help!

For our hotels we would like to start working with a digital form of registration cards. We do not want a full self check-in but we do want to digitalize this process. Is a kiosk the only option to do this?

Thankyou very much for your help and insights.

Have a wonderful day!

With warm regards,

Nina Hermanussen & Evy Luijten

Good Morning Nina,

Great question.

There are multiple options to do this. The easiest one would be the kiosk either in self-service or co-operator mode. Alternatively, there are quite a few integrations in the marketplace that can help you further as well.

Kind regards

Matthias

hi @Nina Hermanussen with WestCord we are using the co-operator mode in all 17 properties for digital check in.

The receptionist is still in the lead and hands over the tablet to complete the registration card, in stead of handing over the printed card. after the guest has completed the form the receptionists finishes the check in, but all guest info is now in the profile automatically reducing enormous amounts of printing, as well as the terrible task of translating what the guest with a doctor handwriting put in as his address 😆

Hi Nina

we are currently doing what is described in the answer with a “mix” of tablets, and digital registration cards.

We believe ours works alright, and feel free to reach out to me or my colleagues if you would like to know more.
