re failed payments

Hello im new here and only just gone on mews. We have set up automated payments which is working well except where card is declined. Is there a way to automate sending a payment link with predetermined text as I. have 2 card declined already today and 1 yesterday. Also is there a rule to stop mews sending payment link for airbnb and agoda bookings. Can I automate agoda virtual cards after they stay

I am Olga a Payment expert from Mews support helping you with this inquiry.

  • When the automatic settlement fails we are sending an email to the customer to update the card. This does not re-trigger the settlement, at the moment it is only doing it once per the set rules in rate group.
  • Also when automatic settlement fails it sends an email to the property or creates a task on the dashboard, to action the failed settlement.
