I would like to create a rate or a public voucher, that does not include automatic emails from MEWS to the guest after confirmation.

Is this possible?

Hi @katocl

Currently Mews does not offer a feature within the rate or voucher settings to directly control the dispatch of email confirmations. You do, however, have the ability to disable email confirmations across the board, so they are not sent out by default. Alternatively, you can choose not to send email confirmations for reservations made through the booking engine or via channel reservations, but these options apply broadly and may not precisely address your specific scenario.

We choose not to send them to Channel reservations as to try and minimise the emails sent to booking.com guests, screenshot of the bookable service visit options below

I'm curious about the reasons you wish to avoid sending email confirmations for certain rates or vouchers. If your concern is related to the visibility of the booking amount in these emails, there might be a workaround that could suit your needs. It's possible that by using the appropriate email placeholders and setting up a routing rule accordingly, you can prevent the rate amount from being displayed in the email confirmations. This method could provide a solution that allows you to maintain guest communication without revealing sensitive rate information.

Could you provide more details on why you're looking to exclude email confirmations for these bookings?

Hope the above helps.
