Prepopulate Email in Magic Link Link

Hi Mewser,

I want to build a link to the Magic Link that already prepopulates the guest’s Email address. 

I want to prepopulate the Email since guests do not know the email that booking generated for them.

The normal Magic Link is:

https://app.mews.com/navigator/mews-link

I tried the following and similar with no positive result. 

https://app.mews.com/navigator/mews-link?email=%E2%80%[email protected]%E2%80%9D

https://app.mews.com/navigator/[email protected]

 

Does anybody have a solution?

Hi @tobiaskoehler, 

I was attempting to do this for an email being sent by a booking engine we are trialing, I came to the conclusion that the page doesn’t allow it. 

We have also requested access to the tokenised Navigator link so we can send via SMS but did not get anywhere. There is this Feature request requesting access to the login link, it would be good to throw your votes behind.

I don’t believe that Mews do not care, i think it’s more along the lines of security concerns and other priorities. However the more votes we get, the more weight it has when we take it to our CSM, so please encourage your teams and other Mews users to throw a vote on it.

I discussed this with the product team and as @Mick also deduced, this isn't possible to do right now.
