Dear @Tessa
Thank you for your question!
Currently, if you would like to share a PDF reservation overview with your guest, you can issue a proforma invoice. This document provides a detailed overview of the reservation, including rates; a proforma invoice is not a financial document and is intended solely for informational purposes.
At this time, there is no option to generate a confirmation without including rates. However, I see that this feature has been suggested on our Feedback forum. Please check it out and consider voting for it if you would find it useful. This page is reviewed weekly by our Product Managers, and we build our roadmap based on your feedback.
If you have any further questions, please let me know.
Best regards,
Hello @elena.pudova !
The feedback issue you are referring to is not about PDF Confirmations….
Although we rarely need to “print” confirmations, it should not be too hard to implement an option to output the same tamplate that would be sent via email into a PDF or new Browser window as HTML.
@Tessa After all, there already is a - not so intuitive - work-around: send a confirmation email, open the mail in the mail queue, there you have a preview of the sent email, right-click on it and select “Print this frame ….” or whatever the action to print the current frame is labeled in your browser. The layout/pagination is not optimal however, maybe this could also be worked around by adding some @media selector and custom css to the email template though…
Kind Regards
Jean-Philipp.
Hello everyone,
Thank you @elena.pudova and @j.spiess for your answers.
I saw the proposal on your feedback forum and it was proposed in 2019… so i guess it’s not happening anytime soon.
The proforma is nothing like a confirmation PDF, because the clients ask me most of the time a confiramtion with no price in it. I don’t need the paiement details, I need a PDF with name, room number, hour of check in/check out… that type of info.
i’ll try your advise @j.spiess even if it’s not optimal.
regards
