Optimize sales with cancelled bookings

When I recieve a cancellation, I would like to keep the amount but resell the room the same night to optimize my revenue. Today if I cancel the reservation, the revenue will be retrieved from the revenue stated in reports etc… How do you deal with this?

Hi! I am a little bit confused about the question. You want to take a payment for the cancelled room night right and then re-open the room for sale?

Dear @Kayleigh yes exactly! But If I cancel the first room night it is deducted from the revenue of this night. How can I avoid it?
