Dear Camilla,
Thank you for your question.

Do you have a separate accounting category for no-shows?
If so, then the best option would be using the Accounting report, if you set the filter to:
→ Group by - Accounting category
→ Accounting category - No-show

you will be able to views all the revenue that was booked for this accounting category under the Revenue field and all the payments taken under the Payments field. If you run a report in a Detailed mode, you will be able to view each bill where these items have been booked.

Please let me know if this helps. And if you have any questions, please also do let me know!

Warm regards,
Elena

Dear @elena.pudova

Thank you.

I don't have a seperate account category for No-show, it is under my account for room revenue.

So i am missing a filter that can choose a category/product under the account category.

If i create a seperate account for no show now and set my no show up to this account, will it then affect the reports back in time ? So i could do as you describe above.

Camilla :)

Dear @Camilla.Evelyn

If you set it up now - it will not affect the reporting from the past, therefore you will be able to use this option only in the future. But if you want to keep a track of revenue for no-shows or cancellations - it will for sure require a separate accounting category.

Without a separate accounting category, you can try to have a look at the reservation report (it will be less informative since there you will only see the reservations total and no payment information) but it will give you an idea.

The report filter settings will be:

→ Mode: Totals
→ Status: Canceled
→ Group by: Cancelation reason

There you will see totals for all cancelled reservations and for the no-shows in particular.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Warm regards 🌸
Elena
