As far as I know, you need to add the info to the rates’ names and rate descriptions.

There currently is no separate setting in a rate that would designate it to include certain services/products. You can assign products automatically with product rules for billing/accounting, but that has no effect on the display.

However, if you have grouped your rates based on cancellation policy (as that is usually the way you do it), you will end up with the problem that only the rate without breakfast within the specific rate group will be shown in the booking engine, because only the lowest rate within a rate group is shown on the booking engine. Thus, you need to seprate your rates in sparate rate groups based on all the criteria you wish to differentiate in the booking engine, like

•  Rate Group with breakfast - flexible policy
  • Rate “Flexible with breakfast"
  • Rate “Lastminute Flexible with breakfast”
  • Rate “Early booker Flexible with breakfast”
• Rate Group without breakfast - prepaid policy
  • rate “Prepaid without breakfast”
  • …..
• Rate Group with breakfast - prepaid policy
  • rate “Prepaid with breakfast”
  • …..
• Rate Group without breakfast - flexible policy
  • rate “Flexible without breakfast”
  • …..

Only the lowest available rate within each rate group will be shown, so you can easily do some basic booking window based yielding for example, or minimum stay restricted pricing.

But it needs quite a few rate groups. I too would support a solution where the included services could be a real rate attibute. That would allow a more transparant and easy rate setup if you have a more complex setup (like with breakfast, all inclusive, room only, with/without wellness, access to whatever included or not - than your setup will be very complex, as you would need a rate group for every possible combination of included services and cancellation policies...). I think there was a feature request on feedback.mews.com but I just cannot find it now… if you create on, I will support it ;-)

PS: Or use a third party booking engine, like one provided by your favourite channel manager...

Hi @j.spiess , thank you so much for your anwser, it’s very clear for me now how Mews’s display works. I will try this solution on rates’ names & descriptions. I will also create the request on feedback.mews.com because we definitely need this kind of setting.
