How to Configure Additional Person Charges Based on Room Category.

We have room categories where the cost for an additional person is not the same depending on the category (e.g., Suite, Classic).

To configure additional person charges based on room category, you need to set up an extra occupancy adjustment.

1. Go to the Main menu > Settings > Services.

2. Click on your bookable service.

3. From the Settings menu, click Rates.

4. Select your base rate and click on the Pricing tab.

5. Click on the Base price to display the price properties of the rate.

6. Click on the Adjustments tab and in the Extra occupancy adjustment field, enter the amount to be added if more people book a room.

7. Click Update.

Next, create an extra capacity for the space category.

1. Go to the Main menu > Settings > Services.

2. Click on your bookable service.

3. From the Settings menu, click Space categories.

4. Select the respective space category and scroll down.

5. Under the Extra capacity field, enter the maximum number of additional guests for this space category.

6. Click Save.

Thank you very much, Jessica, but we have different prices for the additional person depending on the room category, especially for our suites. With your configuration, it is the same price that is added for the additional person in all our room categories.
