Derogatory Term in Knowledge Base: Blacklist

In looking for information on how to block a Guest in Mews, a page listing the classifications and their meanings was presented. The term “blacklist” is a derogatory term offensive individuals who identify as black, as also mentioned by one of my Staff members who is of African American descent.

Respectfully, please remove this term throughout the Mews platform. Last year or earlier this year, I requested this to be changed in the classification drop-down menu and this was done. I expected that Mews would have searched the platform and changed this everywhere but this is another location where it has resurfaced.

Hello @DavidFoxx,

thank you for bringing it up!

The term was already changed to “Blocklist” in Mews and MewsUni, but you are right it remained in some help articles. I am raising this internally to have it replaced.
