Hoping someone can assist me with an answer!

We have a dynamic rate structure. The MEWS booking engine displays an average nightly rate when potential guests are shopping. However, guests are not made aware that the rate is an average rate and not a nightly rate. Has anyone ran into this issue and how did you get around it? Also does anyone have a suggestion on how to send rate breakdowns after booking? Thank you community!!

HI @Miseen84, thank you for this question 🙂

Here are some insights and suggestions:

  • Clarifying Rate Information: To ensure guests are aware of the rate structure, consider adding a note or label in the booking engine that specifies the rate is an average. This can be done by customizing the rate descriptions or labels.

  • Sending Rate Breakdowns: After booking, you can send a detailed rate breakdown to guests via email. This can include the nightly rates and any additional charges. Ensure your communication settings in Mews Operations are configured to send such emails automatically.

    • This article provides guidance on how to customize emails sent to guests, which can include rate breakdowns after booking.

Please let me know whether this was helpful or if you need further assistance.
