We have a minimum stay of 2 nights set up. Can I create a promo code (voucher) and allow booking for just one night?

I tried to do it, but the 2-night restriction blocks the voucher.

Hi @Cyprien ,

that is not possible. You cannot overwirte a restriction with anything, unfortunately not.

The only thing you can do is, to book 2 nights and later shorten the booking to one night.

Hello!

you could create a derived rate and activate the voucher only for the derived rate if you want to protect it…

kind regards,

jp.

Hi @Cyprien,

The vouchers are only there to make private rates bookable and restrictions are not overridable in the booking process. So as @j.spiess said, if you want to be able to override this, you need two rates (make one derived of the other so you only manage pricing in one) and have the restriction only on one and the one without the restriction has to be private and with a voucher, so only you can use it.

Hope this helps clarify the logic.

I made two rates, one with my restriction and another rate that is private that can be unblocked with a voucher.  My problem is that with all these group tarifs and rates created, I can’t seem to figure out how to change my prices anymore lol.

But two seperate rates is the way to go in my opinion.
