Hallo new and old friends
I am Ria and I was the co-owner of Planet Winner, where I used to develop my own PMS/POS/S&C/Stock control system. My company and my people were acquired by Mews in December 2019. I still am very happy that I took that step. I love Mews as a company and Mews as a product. I am part of the Mews Ventures team, where I am a bit the product specialist and where I am helping transitioning the people and the customers to Mews. I started my hospitality career in 1986 as junior developer for Holiday Inn Worldwide (based in Brussels) where I worked on the HMS product, some of you may still know. After 37 years in the PMS and hospitality business, I am still learning every day and that is why I am here, to learn from you guys. Lets make our beloved Mews product the best out there, together!
Oh, and I forgot to say that I am living in the most beautiful city of the world: Bruges

My name is Marko and I am a Solutions Architect here at Mews, specializing in Mews POS and Food & Beverage operations. I’ve been with Mews for the past year and a halt and prior to that with Bizzon for four years. During this time I’ve worked in different roles from Tech Support to Customer Success, Onboarding & Implementation, Training & Knowledge Management. For the past two years I’ve been in a pre-sales position, working as an external and internal consultant bridging the gap between customers and product development. I’m passionate about delivering value to our clients.

It is an independant hotel part of IMG Investment Group
We are planning to go live with Mews as our PMS in less that 2 weeks now, and i’m thrilled about it (and quite scared too to be honnest). We are soon to be ex users of Amadeus (Hotel Concepts IDPMS) PMS and we are trying to go with the migration as smoothly as possible for the team.
It is nothing if not a challenge, but the helping team led by Marie Boullanger (from the Mews team) is as helpfull as one can be

Hope some of the people in this community will be able to help us make our “it wasn’t really built that way” ideas a reality because if we can make this work it could be HUGE when it comes to managing staffing limitations for smaller properties (or big one for that matter).

I'm Ettore, and I have recently joined Mews as a Senior Product Manager where I will be working alongside the team of rockstars you already know .
I come from a fairly colorful hospitality background, having worked in operations ranging from 1000+ room resorts to boutique luxury cruises and restaurants all the way to consulting for airlines and catering companies. And what did they all have in common? They all could use better technology to allow humans to do human work. With that in mind, it's not a surprise I am here in Mews, freeing up your time so it can be spent making remarkable guest experiences instead of staring at a screen.

I’m Sofía and I’ve been happily working at Mews for over a year and half as a Service Designer in the Product Design Team.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is collaborating with all of you to shape and envision the service experiences you need. Over the past year and a half, I’ve had the pleasure to visit some of your properties, facilitating brainstorming sessions and conducting validation workshops. Additionally, I’ve interviewed many of you to gain deep insights into the system at play which encompasses aspects such as property type, context, location, guest experience, staffing, and roles. All of these help us shape the best strategies and course of action for our product.
