My name is Aldair, I’m a product manager in the Reservations team at Mews. My team and I take care of all things reservation related as well as housekeeping and task management. I’ve worked at Mews for a little over 5 years now, based at the head office in Prague.

Hi,

I’m Luke. I assist my clients clients with their IT setups. In this case I manage the technical roll out of MEWS for a client that owns a castle and is turning it into a beautiful B&B.

As it’s not your average hotel with sets of identical rooms - each room/suite/apartment is unique and some even overlap - I have developed an uncanny talent for hitting technical configuration limits of any system I get to deal with on this exciting journey, including MEWS. However, so far I have managed to navigate round most technical challenges and problems and hope some of my feature requests are finally picked up. For instance the one to allow guests without credit cards (using Mews Alternative Payment Methods) to complete their online check-in.

Anyway, I hope this community is a succes and helps users help each other in a quick and efficient manner, assisted by Mews employees where necessary.

Hello Mews Community!

I joined Mews a few months ago and now I’m keen to engage with our online community. As a former hotelier myself, I have a deep love of hospitality. At Mews I lead the software engineering team responsible for all of the guest experience systems and apps.

I’m based in Nashville 🤠, Tennessee although I hail originally from Canada 🇨🇦. I travel as often as I can, usually with my family - my wife, our twin sons and our daughter. We’ll enjoy rugged campgrounds, luxury hotels, boring airport hotels, Airbnbs, and curious hostels.

I’ve been with Mews just a little over 3 years... well when time flies when you’re having fun!
Before that I’ve been about 3 years with Planet Winner PMS (Mews’ first acquisition). And earlier I’ve been in hospitality for many years over different positions (F&B, Front of House, Front Office Manager, Revenue Manager, GM).

I was born in Mexico City and grew up in South Florida. Before joining Mews I used to be a Mews Customer working in hostels and that is when I first fell for the system and the company.

I joined Mews last month, bringing over 15 years of corporate travel expertise from SAP Concur where I assumed various leadership roles within the Services domain. In my most recent role as the Global Head of Travel Product Support, I had the opportunity to lead our global Travel teams and shape the strategy for our Travel Support division.

Our customers are at the heart of our success, and it is my goal here at Mews to ensure their satisfaction throughout every interaction with our Support team. As of now, I have already begun planning our short- and long-term strategy to improve our customer experience, and look forward to sharing more details about our initiatives and the positive impact we aim to achieve very soon.
