Is there any news if this feature will be launched? For smooth check-in procedure, would be great to be able to take in credit card details with MEWS terminals instead of manual work.
As we have a lot of travel agency clients, we are unable to collect the card details with e-mail link for collecting the payment details.
There was a mention of this improvement 9months ago when zero authorization link was launched, but still no news?
@Reeta_Kari as far as i know it is possible by email with zero amount but not on the terminals. i am not sure if this is planed…
I’m really interested in this topic, since I’m looking for a way to charge certain customers for their misconduct, but without the hassle of a traditional deposit—you know what I mean? However, the way it works now, sending a link doesn’t do any good… Is there any news about using the Mews payment terminal?
| Thanks for raising this. Zero Amount Authorization is not yet available on Mews Terminals. The team is working on bringing it to terminals, but we don’t have a confirmed launch date yet. We’ll share an update as soon as it becomes available. |
