If your team is running events manually — without a dedicated event management solution, relying on things like email, Excel or Word templates — we’d love your help to shape how to bring events inside the PMS.
Why we’re doing this
We’re bringing events natively inside Mews PMS, so a quote books straight into your existing availability across both accommodation and event spaces, your existing guest and company profiles, and billing — automatically, with nothing to re-enter or keep in sync elsewhere.
This is a good fit if:
- You run a hotel, hostel or B&B with accommodation and function/event spaces,
- You have a small number of event spaces,
- You’re currently managing events manually — no dedicated event management system in place,
- You’re open to a couple of working calls in October, then testing the product hands-on, and sharing regular feedback as we build.
This is genuinely early stage — this early Alpha version won’t yet cover everything a full event management solution does, and may not be the right fit for teams with more advanced needs, or who are already using a dedicated events solution today (including Mews Events). If that’s you, we’d still love to hear from you in the comments — even if we can’t onboard you into this Alpha, your input helps us build the right product.
What the Alpha version will include:
- Create events in the PMS
- Manage your event pipeline
- Build a quote that books the right spaces and products directly into the PMS, syncing with billing automatically
- Send quotes to clients for approval
- Set and track deposit payments
Not part of this first version:
- Manage event operations natively (i.e. function sheets)
- Detailed events reporting
What’s involved
We’re looking for a small, limited number of properties to join as design partners:
- A couple of discovery calls starting October to walk through your current process and pains, and how the Alpha will work
- Access to the work-in-progress product in a demo environment to test ahead of go-live
- Going live with the Alpha in late November
- Regular check-ins (i.e. biweekly) on feedback and improvements from there — functionality will keep evolving through the Alpha based on what we learn from you
- We anticipate the Alpha will run for a couple of months. Further down the line, we’ll open up a Beta with a wider set of functionality.
