Mobility Ticket Salzburg /Salzburg Land

Liebe Community!

Bitte beachtet dabei folgende Punkte:

HI @Johannes_Rott Thanks for documenting this - our community hero! I’ve also done some digging and see that our Partner team have reached out to Omniboost to see if/how it can be resolved.

I know @Sarah.Masterton-Brown, I spoke to omniboost as well a while ago but since no MEWS costumer wanted the pre checkin solution for a small amount I think 50€ per month they didn’t keep up on. So there is a paid solution by FRIVA but that’s a way to expensive with 1,50€ per room and month for something the state of Salzburg decided to give free of charge to their guests. We do want the state of Salzburg to pay for the integration but that’s not so easy

Hi @Johannes_Rott , would it be worth trying to find some potential subscribers and suggest Omniboost finish developing the pre check-in? I came across this thread after overhearing a Salzburg based hotelier mentioning this being a pain point, but as usual no action has been taken. In fact I was unaware Omniboost even considered extending their Feratel integration.

@Manuel it depends on the cost as there is already a solution which is for the case to expenisve.

But yes it could be. Do you have a contact to omniboost? i have been in touch with them but its not on their roadmap anymore!

Yes, I‘ll try. But the first question will probably be „how many hotels do you know who would buy?“ The €50 you mentioned sounds very reasonable to me so should actually sell well…

i know about 10-12 hotels right away… but i needs to be communicated further on so there should be 20-30 hotels… on MEWS or even more.

Seems they’re not interested. My contact told me their team needed to speak with Mews about that, but seems nobody at Mews remembers ever having actually been asked. Sorry, western Austria, I’ve only that one direct contact with Omniboost and that’s not in his department, so I’ll not poke him a third time

(even though it would make such a tremendous amount of sense to have a pre-check-in status both in Mews and in Omniboost x Feratel… speaking of which, it would make a tremendous amount of sense to have a pre-check-in reservation status in Mews, period)
