MEWS POS in Malta?

Can anybody give me a real answer when MEWS POS will be available in Malta?
We are in love with the PMS and want to complete our experience with the POS. I am super eager to find out when the POS will be available and what the hold up is on getting it available in Maltese hotels?

Hi ​@John_C , thanks for raising this in the Community, and great to hear you’re Mews PMS fans :blush:. I’ve asked the product team and this is what they’ve responded: We don’t have timelines for Malta, it’s not currently on our Roadmap and future prioritisation will depend on availability of payment terminals.

So we would have to switch to MEWS terminals for the implementation of MEWS POS to go up on the priority list?

Hi ​@John_C, I’ve asked for clarification from our product teams, and this is what they came back with:
Having integrated payments across all hotel touchpoints, online and in-person, is seen as a significant differentiator and efficiency driver. Because of that we are not prioritising POS expansion into countries where we don’t have support for Mews Payment terminals at the moment.
