Have you also noticed that Mews gets significantly slower every day between around 3 PM and 5 PM?
For me, this has become a recurring issue, and sometimes the loading times are so long that it is barely possible to work.
At first, I thought the issue was local, perhaps related to my browser or something similar. However, after checking with colleagues working at different locations, I found out that they are experiencing the same issue.
I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing this as well, or if it could be related to the fact that we have a chain contract covering almost 50 properties, with a lot of activity happening in the system at the same time, especially around 3 PM when check-in starts.
I haven’t really paid attention to the time exactly but yes, downtimes during the day are definitely noticeable and it sounds reasonable that if every property has an automatic check in at the same time it might be traffic related. I’ll pay attention whether it’s always the same time. We kind of thought it’s because there’s many changes being worked on at the moment.
Thank you for confirming that it’s not just us experiencing this.
Just to clarify, we do not have automatic check-in enabled. However, we naturally see increased activity in the system as guests begin to arrive, which is typically around 3 PM, when check-in starts.
@Sonja That message pops up from time to time. We also frequently see an “Invalid Enterprise ID” message, most often when switching between properties. Refreshing the page usually resolves the issue.
However, I believe these two messages are unrelated to the issue I mentioned above, as they appear randomly from time to time, whereas the system slows down significantly at almost exactly the same time every day.
