If your front desk opens the billing screen before every check-out just to be sure nothing is outstanding, this beta is for you.
The check-out dialog now shows what is happening with the bills on the reservations you are checking out, so there is nothing left to guess at.
This beta is for:
- Properties whose front desk checks billing before check-out
- Properties using Close balanced bills at check-out, Send closed bill, or both
What it does
- Shows what is blocking check-out. Every unbalanced bill in the way, with the amount outstanding. Click one to land on that bill.
- Shows what will close. Which balanced bills close when you complete the check-out.
- Says why a bill will not close. A consumed-data issue on an order item, or a missing address in the French legal environment, named on the spot.
- Shows where each bill is going. With Send closed bill switched on, the destination email for every bill before it sends.
New – adds a missing email address. Where a bill owner has none on file, enter one at check-out so their bill can still be sent.- New – sends to a different address. Change where a bill goes for this check-out only, or save the new address to the guest profile.
