Mews Booking Engine

Wir haben gemerkt, dass bei Direktbuchungen über Mews Booking Engine, die Produkte am Ende und dann bei uns im Hotel, nicht Addiert werden.

Wärend dem Buchungsprozess ist alles OK, Preise sehen alle OK aus, im letzten Schritt, nachdem die KreditKarte eingegeben wurde und die Bestätigung gesendet wird, bleibt auf der Bestätigung nur der ZimmerPreis übrig. Alle Produkte welche wir automatisch dazu rechnen (in unserem Fall Kurtaxen und Frühstück), werden nicht bestätigt, und in Mews Commander kommen die Reservationen ohne Produkte an.

Ich habe es gemerkt, weil mir die Preise irgendwie zu tief schienen und selber eine TestReservierzung durchgeführt habe.
Habe schon Mews Help Kontaktiert, habe eine case number, aber normalerweise dauern diese Sachen 2-3 Tage.

Hat jemand von euch auch dieses Problem ?

Nur über booking engine. Die letzte korrekte Reservierung war heute Nachmittag um 15:20 Uhr

Hallo Roland,

wir haben das gleiche Problem wie es scheint. Buchungen über die Booking Engine kommen ohne die Übernachtungssteuer an. Die Uhrzeit passt auch ungefähr.

 

Eine schnelle Lösung bzw. Hilfestellung seitens MEWS wäre hier sehr willkommen!

I have just checked this with us, because it is definitely important.

With us, everything appeared as booked. Perhaps this was a short-term "problem".

I would test this again from your side.

Hello and thanks for checking it still doesn't work
for us. I just made a reservation.

The big problem is that the guest receives the wrong price confirmed. I can't say that now you have to pay something else.

BUT: as soon as I go into Mews Commander, into the reservation and book the tourist taxes manually as an item, everything appears correctly again. ONLY the guest sees the wrong, too low price.

Auch bei uns ist besteht das Problem noch weiter, die Übernachtungssteuer fehlt und auch hier wird dem Gast nach Buchung eine Bestätigung ohne diese zugestellt, zum entsprechend zu niedrigen Gesamtpreis.

@JMG do you use the accommodation tax (local tax) as hardcoded or have you created a product?

We use the latter and it works. just tested again.

@Johannes Rott Hey, we also use a product for the accommodation tax.

However, this is not automatically booked for MEWS Engine bookings. For OTA and MEWS Operations bookings.
You up there seem to be missing too, don't you? The taxes listed there are not the accommodation tax.

I noticed this problem this morning as well. 

Got me into a big panic. 

Good to hear I’m not the only one experiencing the issue. 

So for me the following concrete cases:  

non-ref reservation including breakfast

→ mews order only displays the reservation price excluding breakfast
→ mews only charges that amount (so we have to manually charge the breakfast)

Fortunately the guest confirmation displays the correct price.

I think it is best I await more news via this topic instead of changing things myself

I consider this a big issue, especially because it causes confusion in the back office.
Perhaps Mews has to send out a communication on this?

Yes, we have the same problem.

 

In my test, the room without products should be € 100, - and with products (which accrue automatically) € 107.61

 

Everything is still in order via the MEWS IBE during the booking:

 

after the booking has been completed (click on book now) it starts.

From now on the price is 100,- and any products are ignored.

 

Accordingly, only 100,- in the confirmation of the guest

 

and in MEWS everything without products

 

 

All products have disappeared, although they were still displayed in the IBE during the booking...

And this is exactly from the time MEWS tries to create the reservation.

However, this is only the case when booking via the MEWS IBE! If I do normal pick-up, everything is OK and all products are there...

Hello, 

The problem has indeed become worse.

Now the confirmation to the guests is the price without the products! (even though they added it)

the reservation confirmation currently incorrectly displays the price without the product, even though it was added.

so eg. I book incl. breakfast for € 240.- (2 persons)
our breakfast is € 25.- per breakfast
confirmation: room incl breakfast € 190.- (2 persons)
(~ in practice meaning we are to give breakfast for free)

I don’t know what went wrong, but this is a big issue. 
I have first identified it yesterday (24/09) around 16:30.

Auch bei uns gab es mittlerweile wieder einige korrekte Buchung über die MBE, auch in verschiedenen Properties!
